CA’ SANT’ORSOLA

Condominium Ca’ Sant’Orsola in Treviso

Ca’ S. Orsola is located in Via Riccati, a few steps from the Treviso Cathedral, right in the historic centre, an absolutely prestigious location.

The building, former headquarters of the Polish Institute, is protected as a historical monument by the Veneto Region’s Superintendence of Historical and Architectural Heritage.

The renovation has restored a property that was in a state close to structural unsustainability, but most importantly, it has enhanced the energy and acoustic performance of the complex.

The building has been equipped with an anti-seismic structure and each flat is certified as Class A. The inclusion of high-performance energy-saving glass, the creation of thick thermal insulation and a controlled mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery, and the use of solar panels to support domestic water heating are key aspects for achieving certification.

By using low-harm internal materials, the floor heating and cooling system with ambient humidity control ensures living comfort.

Privacy is ensured by a special attention to acoustics, whose performance has been classified in class 1 according to European regulations. The relationship between historical value and technological innovation coexist in this project, making it one of a kind.
